We (Luca Beisel, Tom Brewe, Joscha Lausch, Mohammad Moradi) took a closer look at the paper rolls of automatic instruments (early 20th century) made available by Deutsches Museum. The scanned rolls will be used to create music on your mobile device, by digitally analyzing them and synthesizing sound. It will be also possible to scan actual rolls in front of you with your camera and hear music which you can create yourself. Move your device faster... make it play faster!
